no bakes? like mini cheddar bakes?

you'd probably stop breathing on account of being dead and ambulance men would scrape you from the road.

but really, the dangers of chain snap on fixed have been exaggerated.

    (not that wood)

A chain snapping is not likely at all, but if it did snap, and I was IMO stupid enough to cycle without brakes, I'd go into the gutter and rub my shoes against the rear tyre.

If that wasn't an option I'd drag my feet like a 5 year old.

You've got to bear in mind these people who ride fixed without brakes tend to live in mainly flat areas, you won't find many alive brakeless rider in winding mountain roads.

Also you tend to find most people who ride fixed have a lot of experience.

What you mean is that if the rear wheel is turning, then the cranks are too.

Not necessarily, the chain may have snapped.

Now that's taking things too far. We're talking working bikes here, not borken ones.
