How to fix a broken condom?

I've got a latex innertube that is punctured. The trouble is, it's been soooooo long since it was put inside the tyre that I've completely forgotten whether or not you need special patches/vulcanising solution to fix punctures in latex tubes.

Can anyone give any info?

Regular patches and glue should work fine. I haven't used latex tubes for years but when I did, I just used good old Cure-C-Cure or Tip-top patches and glue.
