Hi folks,
My brother and I are in the process of launching a new publication in East Sussex. We are currently drawing up two guides of cycle routes in the county. One for roadies and one for off roaders.
The rides themselves are gained from everyday people like yourselves. We go out and ride every individual ride, grade it and see if its something worth printing. Each guide will have 31 rides in. 10 easy, 10 medium, 10 hard and 1 extreme. So something for all levels of rider. Each route will have a map, elevation plan, an in-depth description and a list of local businesses including places to eat and drink, places to visit, places to shop, places to stay and local bike shops.
This guide as said before will be an annual publication with 31 different rides each year. Current estimate is £2.50 per guide. They will be A6 in size and around 164 pages.
Is this the sort of publication you would buy and use? Comments and/or questions please

Mark

You could be cheeky, and make loose leaf A4 so it could fit in one of these (http://www.roughrideguide.co.uk/) or in a folder of your choosing.

One good thing about these guides is you can put the only map you need in a polly bag and tape it round your top tube. Saves carring anything extra :-)

But to answer your question...you guides is much cheaper, and it it does what you say there seems no reason not to buy it :)
