What spokes?

I'm going to be ordering some new wheels for my RL soon, probably from merlin, Mavic XM719 rims on XT hubs, but i'm wondering if i'll be able to get away with double butted spokes, the riding do most is what i call trail riding, small jumps/drops but no serious hucking, or would i be better getting plain gauge? I weigh about 15 stone and am not a paticularly agile rider if it makes a differance. Thanks.
