Hi all,
Newbie here looking for advice on sizing on a specific bike.
I recently had my 6 year old Scott mountain bike nicked and I have had my money through from the insurance claim. The last time I bought a bike I didn't really bother with a fitting. As I have to have my bike supplied to me I am not going to get the chance to test it.
I have made my mind up and I want to go for the Scott Sportster P1.
With an inside leg off 33" would a large be ok for me? The geometry of the bike is here http://www.scottusa.com/product.php?UID ... e=geometry
Is there anything else I should be thinking of? I don't want to get an £800 quid bike without covering all the bases!
Great site BTW

Agreed! But I am mostly going to use this for city commuting that takes in a little off road.0

Its difficult to size up a bike without testing it, as there are other factors (such as top tube length) to take into account. If I had to stick my neck out, I would say large.
Other bike worth looking at is the GT ZUM
