Fork Set-up

I have the Rock Shox Tora 302 fork on my 'hopper '07. When I ride over roots and bumps etc. I hear the fork 'hissing' which i'm thinking is the rebound. Should I apply more or less rebound to reduce the hissing? It doesn't do it when I press down on the handlebars so i'm guessing in its normal operation that it happens.

Any ideas?

The "hissing" is normal. Just adjust the rebound the way it feels better and never mind the noise...

Its the oil in the damping circuit. Nothing to be worried about.
