Does anybody have break lights on their bike? I saw one cyclist a long time ago with one and it looked useful. Haven't seen another one since then though...

Nah, just the fact that the back wheel starts to overtake the front has enough effect on following motorists....... like happened last week after some stooopid mini jcb driver decided to pull across the road as I was approaching at 30 plus (down hill run off) - god those machines are slow (but hard !)

Good idea though, but too many different brake mechanisms for it to fit, and us cyclists are just cannon fodder anyway ! ! :x

I have a SON-powered B&M Diwa system that does braking based on acceleration to the taillight. It's a good lighting system, but I'm not bothered about the brake light part of it. It just works fine as a normal light to me. Not currently fitted to my recumbent, btw.
