Normal price the triple is £30 more.

I picked up my Sport triple for £599

    Difference?

I think it's just the extra Granny chain ring, I think

(I'll be corrected if I'm wrong )

how do you like the bike ?
I am thinking of the Allez sport triple. The 2007 model is now reduced £100

I'm really pleased, £130 off making £599, but deals change all the time.

I got Shimano 105 pedals put on too....

I'm really pleased with it, fast and comfortable.

Not ridden a road bike for about 20 years.

The only trouble is the crap weather, don't want to get it wet!

So I've done a few 15 milers in just over an hour, a 3mph increase on a MTB with slicks on the same route.

If the weather hods I'm going to do 30 plus, I've got a 60 coming up in August, charity run, and i waant to have things just right for that.

As I say, well pleased, it's well built and the Sport upgrades on the groupset make this a really good deal.

    go for it!

The Allez is a very nice bike, and can be easily upgraded into a top notch machine.
I suggest only going for the triple if you live in a REALLY hilly area and are quite unfit.
Most people prefer the looks of a double.
