Im looking for a cheap set of frame mounted mud guards now i know these aren't going to be as effective as proper mud guards as they are tight to the wheels and these wont be but does anyone have any recommendations as to a pair that are quick to fit/release so that if it isn't raining i dont have to have them on?

Well, RaceBlades seem to be the defacto standard - available at most places - Made by SKS.
    Not cheap though.
I think there are some copies out there - seem to remember seeing something on the SJS cycles website.
Raceblades come with rubberised mounts - make sure you do them up tight enough not to slip and jam your wheel up though!

Been advised to fit tape round frame at the mount points to avoid scratches developing.

Condor usually stock them, occasionally Evans, Chicken&Sons seem to import them, Wiggle have good stock too.
