I have been told that this is quite heavy, more so than bikes like the rockhopper in its range. Are Orange bikes pretty heavy, the Crush looks pretty cool but is doesn't have lockouts on the forks which i would like again is this to heavy?
Is the rockhopper pretty much the best hardtrial you can get for 1000, I know it's got a wicked set up but everyones seems to have one and just want to be a bit different.
Any views on the oranges? :?

Orange don't tend to be quite as well specced as the opposition at any price point, so it tends to show a little in the weight. Sometimes!
Many alternatives to the Hopper at this price for a trail/xc bike. The Crush is more of a hardcore hardtail with its burly frame and fork. Not meant to be light this one!
What sort of riding will you be doing? How much is weight an issue for you, and would you take extra weight for extra strength?0 -
I'll be doing more trail/xc riding than hardcore hardtrial and I guess the Crush is a bit to hardcore and will ended up killing me on long rides.
Just want sometrhing a bit cooler than the rockhopper just because everyones got one.
Don't know if it's worth saving a bit more and get some thing like the Santa Cruz trail bike?0
