Navigation aids

I currently use a Garmin Edge 305 for training purposes, but am after a separate unit that I can to navigate by as the Edge has very limited ability to do this.

So can anyone recommend a Nav Unit for use when cycling on roads and tracks. The criteria I'm after are:

Must either use rechargeable batteries or have a rechargeable internal battery (a la Edge)
Must display junctions coming up on pre-defined route
Must have battery life of greater than 8 hours
Compatible with Garmin MapSource products

So does anyone know anything that meets these and won't break the bank....?

Compatible with MapSource means a Garmin GPS

I'd suggest an Etrex Venture Cx or Legend Cx
They differ only in that the Venture Cx doesn't come with any accessories.

Normally used with rechargeable AAs - battery life somewhere in the 20-30 hour range.
