They should be made to take a short cut via the sea on pedlao's.

Otherwise this stage could be proper dull.

Looks like him trying to get across after Wegman...

Arghh, he's missed the bus. Reacted a few seconds too late after Wegman went away.

Really fast start to the stage by the look of it. Over halfway through and still no proper breakaway.

Could be a few splits in the bunch by the finish, I think.

And as I say that, the break is allowed to go. Fofonov, Gilbert, Florencio and Wegmann.

1930's American fairground games. Instead of goldfish they gave away cigars. So if you just missed out with a ring toss, close... but no cigar.

My life has been enhanced by learning that little tidbit.

Ooh, what did I tell you? The peloton has been split in two by Astana and Quick Step!

Moreau's Tour could be over here... He's stuck in the second group and the main bunch is getting further and further away...

Moreau is doomed. France won't be happy.

I saw Vino giving instructions to Caisse d'Epargne to keep rotating; he's putting the heat on the Frenchman.

Wow, who would have expected such thrills on this stage?

Moreau almost 90 seconds behind the main group. Astana are really giving it some gas.

He suffers from some kind of skin complaint that is caused by sweat and sun. It's been a problem for him in the past. His column on www.bicycling.com expands on it.

Whats up with Moreau? He is losing time on a flat stage?!!! Maybe Vino is slowly but surely recovering.

Moreau crashed today as well. He was just in a bad position when Astana upped the tempo.

    He must be knackered.

Poor old Millar, it must really suck having a skin condition like that and be a pro-cyclist.

Great to see a wild card team take two wins already in this tour and two of the last three stages!!

Vino looks to be recovered as he attacked in the final kilometers but didn't get away. Nice win for Hunter, bad times for Moreau.

A classic example of a team manager seeing a big name in the wrong place and giving the order to ride!
Any chance Moreau might have had for a high place goes out of the window, (unless there's a screw-up like last year, when they let Pereiro get his 30 mins back).
I bet Boonen's raging too, missing a big chance to grab a lot of points over Zabel.
Another example of a poor decision by the Tour course designers, imagine that run in if it were to have been raining.
Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.

Agreed, did you see how narrow the road got when they went through the tunnel? And after that it was like a slalom course right up to the line.

And nice also to see the classic gesture of beating the handlebars in frustration, though usually it is the Italians who do that so well.
