I can't work out if it's serious or not.
Maybe the reasoning is if they get a PT license no-one will let them enter their PT races, and the smaller races won't be able to accept them because they need to keep the number of PT teams down.

I can't see McQuaid approving this. There's too many ProTour teams anyway and a fully approved Unibet and a clean committed Barloworld (and possibly even Slipstream) must be ahead in the queue.
The anti-doping contract lost some credibility for me when Mancebo signed it.

This Relax team...takes a relaxed attitude to doping..the who's who of Operation Puerto cliets head this team. Verbruggen is well known as a rule breaker-trying to stop Graeme Obree earning a living by authorising rule making trackside without due procedure. Verbruggen shouldn't just be kept away from the sport, but should be sued by people like Mr Obree IMO0
