The Marathon bikes are some of the ugliest things to have two wheels I have ever seen.0
-
dont look too bad, never really liked the style of GT frames though.___________________________________________________________

That carbon zaskar must be the best looking frame ive ever seen.0
-
The best looking hardtail I have ever seen goes to the Scapin Fybra.
I'd sleep with it. Right in the BB hole.0 -
Not the biggest fan.
i like the way that they are full suspended bikes, instead of full suspension bikes.0 -

The Sanction 1 looks pretty awesome, I'm after a long travel bike - will definitely consider one of those. I have never liked GTs design much - but this looks pretty cool0
-
i really like the look of the 2008 range sooo much better than previous years i think, especially the marathon carbon pro and the zaskar they look gorgeous0
-
The carbon Zaskar will be winging its way into my collection soon!0
-
I like the fact that it's unpainted to save weight 8)Giant Defy 4 2014

Frame is 2.64 lbs. Heavier than a scale, but reports so far say it is stiffer and a lot better for hammering on the trails.0
-
If its anything like an alloy zaskar it should be one of the stiffest frames out there.
I will get one if they do it frame only.0 -
Aye, the alloy one is stiff, can tell you that for sure :-)
Hoping a frame only option too. Guess it will be about 900 quid.0 -
Not sure. I'm hoping for a bit cheaper. The alloy frames are only 300 quid remember which is excellent value so im hoping about 700 quid to compete directly with the XTC composite frame.0
-
I think the cheapest full build will be 2200 quid, with Fox Float RLs and full XT.0
-
We can but hope anyway! There will be lots of competition in terms of carbon frames next year, this could play into our hands!0
-
Good to see GT working with the black stuff again - they ruled the roost in the late 90s when it came to forming frames, I remember dreaming about that LTS STS! Good old Zaskar had to do though, and for an 11 year old frame its doing well, had a right beating.0
