A fully grown man naked? (I jest)

Anyway, I was cycling up tannenburge hill near east soleyturns (Although I'm sure most of you already know where tannenburge hill is without me telling you!) and all of a sudden BAM (like a thousand smashing saucepans) I felt a sharp sting in my hand, only to see a dastardly wasp exit the vicinity of my gloves and fly into a nearby unsuspecting bush. Need less to say, that was my day's riding over. Anyway, I was just wondering what anti-wasp measures you people use? I was wearing gloves, but the barbaric little swine managed to get in under my gloves.

Would you recommend bessons to seal the gaps?

Have any of you had any issues with local wasps?

    isnt it vinegar or baking soda you put on it to neutralize the sting, cant remember which though.

    Thanks for that. What container would you recommend I use for the products? Paper for its light weight property's? Or do I add a bit of weight and use a plastic container (for example an old brylcream container?) There's nothing worse than a wasp sting ruining a perfectly good ride, and it was up tannenburge hill no less! When things like that happen you just have to ask yourself two questions;

    1. Why wasps are so hard?
    2. Why were we not given/evolved to have some kind of anti wasp sting device?

    But why do you want it? I assure you that I don't want a repeat of the 7 email incident. Not again, not ever.

    I was taking a slash in the woods next to school once and looked down to see a wasp pumping its sting into my thumb.Tthat could have been worse than a sting ruining a good ride. The way my thumb swelled up i dread to think what could have happened. Makes me wince just remembering.

    *I* don't need your email, but if you're subscribed to a topic and you have an invalid email address in your profile, I get all the failed message delivery reports in my inbox. Which is ok the first couple of times, but rather annoying when i get them every other minute! :shock:
