I saw them live about 4 years? ago supporting Feeder at the SECC.
I thought they were pants back then. Their songs were just thrash metal and involved lots of screaming and shouting down the microphone ala Slipknot.
Having heard them on the radio recently, they appear to have come on leaps and bounds and the song that is currently being played is quite good.0 -

I hate it when people are starting to relate to their new stuff but dismiss the fact that they've been around for years. Their first 3 albums were better than "the stuff being played on scuzz" although the new stuff is amazing nonetheless.
Saw them at T the other last weekend and seeing them in november.

New album is far too radio friendly, then again so was the last one. Alright band. 'Ala Slipknot' hahahaha that is hilarious. Older albums are definately worth a listen though.0

Although, there are a good few excellent tunes on the new album. It's the whole, "Biffy Clyro have recently kick-started their career with the release of Puzzle" crap that annoys me. (<<I read that in this month's 'rocksound' btw) People are thinking they're a new band. :roll:

The fact that they are bounced around all over alternative radio and Sky channels but to be honest they are nothing new.
I think there are other bands out there that have more orginality and talent.
