I am persuaded that this 'Tour' is as clean as it can be!

The real talent should emerge over the next 5 stages.

Rider comments 'flag' that only the 'brave, the 'daring' and the determined will finish up on the podium in Paris.

Anyone disagree? - am I being naive?

I was about to reply that I agree with you that this years race is pretty clean....................and then the Patrick Sinkewitz story broke.

I actually still think this year is pretty clean. We haven't had mass expulsions or a big scandal yet. Maybe i'm being a little naive but the appearance at the head of the race by genuine climbers like Rasmussen and Mayo along with a few other noted climbers and few 'larger chaps' who shouldn't be able to climb as well shows that somethings right... feel free to tell me that i'm wrong etc. or living in cloud cuckoo land that i believe that the race is pretty clean. thats not to say i wasn't fearing the worst when the simkewitz story broke, but one swallow does not a summer make...
