if so whats it like and are the Xero XSR-3 wheelset any good.?? it looks like it would weight something like 21 pounds withthe triple 105 groupset on it but i could stick on some easton vista sl on it and lose about half a pound a wheel.

it will be for all day outings sportif etapes ect and club runs rather than actually racing thats why im looking at the scr framset rather than the tcr

cheers

I have one and it is nice and comfy for longer rides. Really happy with it, but if you want the bad points.....
    - the tyres are rubbish and lasted only 500 miles
    - you need to keep the seatpost and shim greased or it creaks
    - have found that the front xero flexes when going for it out of the saddle and not as responsive as the mavics on my other bike.

Overall if I had to make the decision to buy it or not again I would buy it, but change the wheels and tyres.

I have one and I'm happy with it

    points to note:

    - creaky seat post (fixed with industrial amounts of grease)
    - I stripped the bottle cage bolt thread (this was prob my fault though)
    - It came with 700x26 tyres, I swapped these for 23
    - The wheels seem fine though I don't have much to compare them against. I am 90+ kilos and they are still perfectly true, they do sometimes flex and rub the brakes if I'm standing on the pedals uphill though.
    - I didn't like the stock saddle and I swapped it for a spesh alias, personal preference though in that department
    - I think it hs quite a long reach which suits me but you might want to test ride

I see you can get it for £600 or less now, I paid £700 for mine last September, so not a bad deal
