i bought an 07 hardrock disc about three months ago and its a good bike, although forks are a necessary upgrade if your serious about things. If you can splash out abit more get a hydraulic disc version, dales cycles are doing some sweet deals at the moment

The price of the Hardrock Sport HYD Disc is down to £369.99 now.....trying to be strong and not rush out to buy one next week when I get paid as it is half year bonus time at te end of August :?

Got my Mongoose Tyax Elite delivered today (£252 incl delivery) and for that price there is nothing to touch it. Of course you should try before you buy - I didn't and I am very pleased with the bike.

Absolutely pleased as punch with it. It is everything the reviews say. I love it. Have given it a quick blast down a fireroad this evening, and am now looking forward to getting it down some proper singletrack.
