change a wheel on a single speed jump bike?

I know this sounds totally thick but i can not get the back wheel off to change the tube. The things maybe just seized on or something. I tried undoing the bolt but to no avail.

Help please before i have to go down the bike shop and make a prock of myself in person.

Thank you

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you trying to say you can't get the whole wheel off in order to change the tube?

P45 is a horizontal drop out, right? If so, then you should just undo the bolt-thru, slide it out the hub and then whoosh, out comes the wheel. Sounds like the bolt-thru has seized up on you there to me. Try giving it a douse in WD40 or GT85, leave it to soak and then come back and try again. If not, you'll need to hire Mr. T to come in and cheese it out with brute force

Undo the bolt on each side of the wheel, and the chain tugs (if you have any).

Push the wheel forward and unhook the chain from the chainring
pull the wheel back and unhook the chain from around the hub when the wheel is out of the dropouts

so many people who dont have the bike giving wrong info.

redstar look at the drop out. see the trension screws (one each side) un screw them so as to release the chain tension the whole way. then slacken off the axel nuts. push wheel forward rotate cranks so the chain can be jumped off. take chain of rear cog pull out wheel.

and a better heading might have got the right info sooner!
