my front wheel has been squeeking for awhile now so i tried to sort it out.
it's not the brake rubbing, so i am concerned weather it's the hub making the noise. what could it be?
also my bottom bracket is slightly bend but it got bent back (but is still slightly out of line) at the weekend is this a problem?

Shimano hubs (and similar) tend to squeak where the rubber cover on the cones meets the aluminium hub body. A touch of lube is normally enough to stop it.0
