rearrange the words "riddance" and "good" into a well known epithet.

Mind you, he's going home to spend more time with Ms Basso, so what kind of punishment is that

What a great pity, he gave me hope that the heavier gentlemen could climb well enough to get onto the podium on the Giro.

    :P

Di Luca must be a marvellous liar.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

Or there is no recording of him shooting up in a doctors office.
It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.

Should leave the door open. There are plenty more to get rid of.

Why not. A couple of heavier gentlemen occupied the top two steps of the Tour for the best part of a decade.

'Course they were clean too, weren't they?
  • "Because of the disciplinary proceedings the CONI launched against him and in order not to hurt Astana Cycling Team, Eddy Mazzoleni has decided to end his career with immediate effect,"

    Too late surely?

Well, they've got rid of two riders in a week. Are we sure they should be at the Tour?

I thought Eddy sent a text about the Killer using something to the good doctor or something? I'm getting hazy on drug scandals now.

According to Eurosport, he hasn't retired, he's just left Astana. Shades of Paco Mancebo.

What odds on Big Eddy turning up at Relax in a few months time?

I think that Relax have been banned from the Vuelta...

but otherwise it would have been Team Evil vs Team Draculas Pharmacy

    Please explain:

How does Mazzoleni get his but fried by CONI while fellow conspirator gets to keep the maglia rosa....surely the Italians haven't caught the French habit???

Because there's no evidence that DDL doped at the Giro. Or doped at all, in fact.

Does this mean we have to recalculate the PTP points for the Giro?

    Or at least Andy does

Fairpoint Timoid- but was there not a bit of a furore about abnormally low hormone levels in DDL?

Or has he just not hit puberty yet?

    No chance mate.

Basso will ride for an Italian team I reckon and there will be no shortage of people to sign him up.

Errrr... low hormone levels currently under investigation by CONI
