does it work?

its for my accursed but beautiful seatpost which keeps slipping :(:(

    aparently it does. I've not used it personally. If it's the same stuff I was told about it's quite gritty stuff and I'm not sure if it's suited to seat pins. though it was more for bar/stem type assembly

    This comes up quite a lot on Singletrack - many people have reported using it to good effect, one person recently quoting that it solved a slipping post. Apparently bees wax does the job too though, if you want something more natural!
    An MTBer, but with skinny wheel tendencies...

    it works. I use it on my carbon seat post.
    without it, i can just slide the seat post in.
    with it, I have to push it in and turn it left and right to fit it in.
    so it does increase the firction. and I then the torque needed on the seat clamp is really really low it feels stupid, but it really works.
