hi there im new to this forum and REAL MBKing.
I am using my dads bike at the moment and after 30ish miles this weekend i noticed that there was LOTS of movement in the crank and pedal stem.
I opened it up and the insides were full of metal shavings grease and mud.
I could not get the crank fully open because i could not get my pedal stems off?, are they fixed on, should they be?
I am pretty sure that the bearings have 'gone' in the crank, i am going to get some more tomorrow, what should i ask for?, a crank bearing?
thanks in advance luke :-)

have a good read of park tools. linky below, it will explain how it all works and what you may need to do.
