Stuey in hospital with 5 broken ribs and suspected spinal injuries(get well soon Stuey), Mike Rodgers crashing and abandoning while virtual maillot jeune and Robbie oustside the time limit............strewth !! Maybe if Cadel would come of a wheel for once the day could have been a bit better for them

    That was a real disapointment for Rogers.................he looked like he was on a good ride today.............could well have been in yellow if he could have hung onto Rasmussen (a bit of a tall order, admittedly).

    Also disapointed that Robbie was eliminated...............the sprints will not be the same without him.

    Also gutted for Stuey...................full and speedy recovery I hope.

    That is a bad day all round for them. I felt especially sorry for Rodgers, I honestly think had he not crashed he would have finished high up, maybe taken the yellow and had the ability to build on it in the time trials. I guess we'll never know but it's always sad to see a guy go out like that.
