I am in London in a few weeks time for a few days and i am going to make a appointment with Cyclefit for a complete fitting. So which technician do i make it with Julian, Philip, Warrick, Kimberly or Anthony, or are they all top notch?

It's a drag having to ask everything in 2 forums, isn't it? :)

But I told you everything I know over at acf!

There used to be a few Cyclefit customers at the C+ forum - there was one who said that the advice that he and his friends got was all wrong. Maybe you could PM him. Have you done a search here?

    Bikeit65,

I had a session with Julian at Cyclefit in Nov '05 and it worked ok for me! I purchased a f&f (Glider Tupelo Frame & Columbus tusk fork) and reused everything from my previous bike, couldn't afford the complete bike outright.

My only complaint would be that I've spent a small fortune since  , as it introduced me to the world of road bikes. That said I've been very happy with my bike and 5,000+ miles later have had no need to change the set-up. I commute pretty much every day (20 miles) on it and have ridden several cyclosportives so plenty of use.

I believe quite a few stores will set-up the bike for you if purchasing new, although I wouldn't expect this to be as thorough. So far as the technicians at Cyclefit are concerned Julian, Phil & Warwick are the most senior/experienced and I'm sure you won't go far wrong with either of them.

I'm very happy with my esoles and shoe fitting (was riding shoes that were too small, so no wonder my feet hurt), even after 30 years "experience" still need sensible advice. Being comfortable is he key to going fast, something that all good shops and frame builders know - it will cost though! For what it's worth I broke my 30 year old 10 pb since fitting esoles, so worth the money!
