i like him, but if i was vino, and two days running - once after a monumental crash and once after a megalithic climb after a monolithic crash - he asked me "c'etait doloreus aujourd 'hui vino?' in his lazy french, i'd be tempted to show him just how painful it was by hitting in the face with a musette stuffed with rocks.

  • Well I'd also like to know exactly how one can deal with so much pain and still be in there, and NOT be sniffing. We are now in the age of guilty until proven innocence beyond reasonable doubt, and given cyclings record thats a pretty appropriate and deserved moral position.

good journalist - the fact that hes the only one that gets to ask the questions, among the other 100 or so journos that are waiting - bonus points to Matt

there aren't really that many questions you can ask a rider at the end of a stage though, are there? And usually the riders aren't in the mood to talk anyway

BTW peejay - good to see you're still around - thought you'd abandoned after the move.

    ok ok,

    you all MAY be right.

and i thought the pantani book was really good.

hi skut, i made the move, it's all big and scary here. any news on your bikes? (i doubt it, depressingly, and what are you riding?)
  • Without him, there wouldn't be anyone with ITV to speak to the italian/french/spanish riders in their native tongue.

Yep - just finished building up an 80s colnago frame (bought from andyp) as a fixie. Looks pretty neat - red with white handlebars and saddle, + chrome forks. Chainline needs sorting slightly though. Will get some photos up later today or tomorrow

Was Matt Rendell the one who said to Cadell Evans that people are beginning to talk about him as a GC winner, than caused Evans to pull a hilarious handbag moment?

It was Ned who provoked Cadel's 'moment'.
