I sent paligap an email asking a similar thing cos I was wanting the 12mm dropouts for my coiler and they said the DOPE Kit retails at £200 but im not sure if that is for the whole floating system or just for the dropouts. Any authorised Kona dealer should be able to get it for you. A list of dealers is here: http://www.konaworld.uk.com/dealers/dealers.php
Post back how you get on as i'd like to know if that price is for the full system.
Cheers

Why not try get it on finance? I got mine on 2yr 0% interest! £150 and £56.25 pw!! Lot easier than saving up and you get it a lot quicker too
I like my Coiler, Overall its a top all round kinda bike.
I have noticed the rear end makes a slight knocking sound when going over small bumps etc but cant quite work out what that is :?
Think it might be the rear shock, dont know if this is normal due to me not being used to coil springs (only had air shocks before)
Not to keen on the brakes either, cant get the rear bugger centered properly... tend to get an annoying vibrating noise when cornering cos rotor rubs on the caliper a tad... wish hopes came as stock! loved the ones on my old bike... in fact I loved my oldbike but some b*****d nicked it
I popped into evens today and they reckon that for the rear 12mm dropouts alone is £35.99 so Im guessing the quote I got from paligap (£200) is for the full floating system.0 -
cheers for all the info but ive nearly got enough money so ill just wait! it makes getting the bike even more secial!! lol:D ill defo upgrade to the floating system as soon as i get the bike!my new bike, strait out of the box http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1599469/ i love it0

haha no1's said this so i may aswell geek it up to the max
the dope floating rotar and bar are adjustable to two places.
if you have it at the bottom - which it is in nearly every picture this is the set up for UK terrain and courses. this means that when you pull the brake in a harsh, steep bumpy corner the back wheel is pushed deeper into the corner and the brake does not lock up in the braking bumps.
when the bar is positioned in the upper area, the braking is set for world cup style circuits, where the corners are really long and fast. as this reduces the back wheel dive which isn't needed for the mellow corners.
and thats that! ah well, im probably wrongAlex0 -
kl! is that why all of the stabs nd stinky's have them? (deluxe upwards) thanx for that info!my new bike, strait out of the box http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1599469/ i love it0
