Internal Rebound Adjustment on Drop Off IV Not working

Hi,
Bit of a problem with my Drop Off IV's, after waiting for a week for the 12mm long arm allen key i needed to adjust the internal rebound i found it doesn't work, when i first did it this morning the fork seemed to be working perfectly but after about half an hour i was back where i started (with the forks, not the journey). It seems that the adjuster doesn't stay adjusted. Any idea what to do about this? I bought them off fleabay 2nd hand so no real comeback there.
Thanks

They're just a poor fork, there's alot of people that have proplems with the internal rebound adjusting itself. With some people it works its way to a slow setting and some people a fast. Mine adjusted to a fast setting and started topping out when I pulled up, just before I put some Domain 318's on so I didn't have to put up with it for too long. Hope you didn't pay too much for them because the only way around it that I know of, is to change to a better fork.0

£75 so i guess not too bad, its going to the fastest setting for rebound but i suppose i can ride it like that for a few months while i rebuild my penny collection, and you never know, might sort themselves out. Do you know if the oil weight would have an effect, like maybe going for a thicker oil?0

10wt oil will slow the rebound down as long as nothing has come lose."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
