Hi,

Bit of a problem with my Drop Off IV's, after waiting for a week for the 12mm long arm allen key i needed to adjust the internal rebound i found it doesn't work, when i first did it this morning the fork seemed to be working perfectly but after about half an hour i was back where i started (with the forks, not the journey). It seems that the adjuster doesn't stay adjusted. Any idea what to do about this? I bought them off fleabay 2nd hand so no real comeback there.

Thanks

They're just a poor fork, there's alot of people that have proplems with the internal rebound adjusting itself. With some people it works its way to a slow setting and some people a fast. Mine adjusted to a fast setting and started topping out when I pulled up, just before I put some Domain 318's on so I didn't have to put up with it for too long. Hope you didn't pay too much for them because the only way around it that I know of, is to change to a better fork.
  • £75 so i guess not too bad, its going to the fastest setting for rebound but i suppose i can ride it like that for a few months while i rebuild my penny collection, and you never know, might sort themselves out. Do you know if the oil weight would have an effect, like maybe going for a thicker oil?

10wt oil will slow the rebound down as long as nothing has come lose.
