Well as most of you know, i work at sainsbury's at the moment,

Today was filling up some shelves for a change and i get grabbed by the arm, so oldish bloke about 70ish grabbed me and asked me where the milk was, so i said ok what type of milk, long life or fresh, he answered not bothered just milk, so fair enough i took him to the milk, asked him if he wanted anything else, no nothing, no thanks or anything!! while taking him to the milk i worked out he was poor sighted as he walked into other customers, so i hung round to make sure he was ok.

I should explain we have a french exchange student working for me, his english isnt great but that why he is there, to learn english and help him intergrate, for when he completes his degree as he will be coming back to england to work I should add we dont pay him but he works his balls off every day and he is a great laugh!!

So Jean is working next to the milk when he noticed this old man, still stood around the milk, jean had seen me help him so jean went across to see if he wanted any help as he looked a bit lost, at this point i was on my back to him as i noticed he hadnt moved for a while.

Next thing all war breaks out, this old bloke is shouting and ranting at jean just because he is french!! and its not just you frog its abusive loud language, i got between them asked what happened jean told i just asked if he was ok (french accent required!!) so i turn to the old bloke who then threw his milk at me and started on me!! wanted to know why we employ the f**kin french, then having a go at me just because i smiled and asked if he needed any help!!

so enough was enough we dont tolerate swearing in the store by anyone so i asked him to leave, he then started throwing pots of cream at jean, i got in the way and escourted him out the store, all the time he is shouting and raving till we got to the store entrance where he promptly spat at me!! his eyesight not so bad after all!!

why oh why are people like this!!!

Older people can't understand the more multicultural aspects of life and see everything negative.

I think intolerance comes with age, things wind me up now that I wouldn't have cared about a few years back. I'm going to turn out a right old miserable b*****d.

Sorry, proper northen game speak! (Rugby league) Saints got fined £22000 for going over the salary cap for players, Pie eaters- Wiganers  Goes back a way,

Wiganers are reputed to have gained the epithet 'pie-eaters' not for their voracious appetite for pastry products, but from their abject collapse in the general strike (early 20th Century). The Wiganers took what managers offered, ate the humble pie that was being served up, and helped to break the strike, gaining the contempt of workers in surrounding areas. In a bizarre transference, the population retained and took to heart the 'pie-eating' insult, and transformed it into a battle standard. Bus loads of rugby league supporters who frequently travelled to see their team play for top honours at Wembley2 (how strange that a principally northern sport should have to play its season-topping match in London) would display 'Pie Eater' banners from the windows, and chant 'Pie Eaters' for all they were worth. Little thought ever seemed to be given to the history of 'scabbing' that lay behind the name. For the Wiganers were 'Pie-eaters and proud of it.'.

    Well, you did ask!!

    Copy and paste from BBC!!!

Sonic - You are not allowed to smuggle pies in from the States, plus american pies will taste awful.

Ratty, yeah the fine was harsh as its was international bonuses for the young players that did it. I thought we are susposed to encouraging the young talent.....

I hope the pie eaters get relegated..... But I reckon that because of some of thier wanted to get the hearing moved and their arguments for the old rules to be used it must be a significant breach of the rules.

    Lm-trek - it definately wasn't my fine, i'd be badly crying if i'd got a £22,000 fine.

Old people are the biggest bunch of racist, homophobic, bitter, alcoholic, complaining etc etc etc folk around. I really hate them, working in a shop too I know of it all too well.

(Not in all cases obviously, there are a odd few alright ones)
