no. clicking come sometimes when turn left or right during ride. i was use the 100mm travel fork and no clicking at all and just had 130mm travel fork and they clicking. it's that problem having the long travel on Giant XTC hardtail frame?

Its a process of elimination. Read Park Tools too, good articles on this. Could well be headset. Strip, clean, check and reassemble.

The frame isn't designed are warrantied to be used with a 130mm fork, but I doub't that is what the clicking is. My guess its the travel adjust assembly, or part of the damping circuit. It may just bed in over time.

it's that big problem? u mean not all the frame are suitable long travel?

This frame is designed around 80-100mm of travel, and XC riding. While it is probably going to easily be strong enough to handle 130mm, it does place more leverage on the headtube, and Giant will not warranty it.

Check the disk pads are not hitting the disc arms, new forks mean new position for the brake caliper

the caliper and disc brake are fine. someone said my fork travel bit long and my current Giant XTC can't handle it.

so what length are the forks? should be fine with 120mm travel. and if the fork was too long you would be able to feel it at the joints.

If the headset is not adjusted properly, then it is probably that which is making noises. Have a look at the Park Tools link in my signature below, and follow the bike map for istructions on headsets and adjustment (with diagrams)

I have the exact same issue. He's saying that it's the top clamps on the fork that are clicking when stressed. I have a Marzocchi Z1 RV single crown and when I brake hard i get a clicking noise from the clamps. I torqued down the bolts but still getting the clicking. At first I thought it was at the headset as well but it's not.

Anyone know how to get the clicking to stop at the clamps? Maybe grease the stancions where they go through the clamps?

Just a punt - its not loose spokes on the front wheel is it? That can sometimes cause a clicking noise, at least it did on my road bike.

I contacted Marzocchi about my fork clamps making a clicking sound and they told me to send them in under warranty because the crown likely needs to be replaced. You could contact your manufacturer and see if they are willing to do the same.

    Hope that helps.
