What bike is it and what kind of riding do you do?

nothing really. as i guess you will be requireing the LBS to fit them?

just tell them what you want and leave the bike.

this and other topics on parktools might help.

  • Ah, the dreaded question, I'd love to say that its a Genesis but I believe the operative term is pos mtb, budget extremely tight so I bought a Cross Sprinter hardtail, which I got for £50 off fleabay (new), I think its Romopologarian or something, the only standard items now are the frame and the forks, everything else has been broken or found wanting and been offed, now its on Mavics and Deore XTs paired with sram shifters and tektra levers, I ride xc mostly on trails and bridleways, did a 20ft drop the other day and the forks exploded blowing the wee rubber caps out the top, now completely goosed, they're zoom which I can't find anywhere on the net and I suspect elastomer as they rebound as much as they compress, I try to do between 50 - 70 miles at the weekend and the fork thing is now an issue needing resolved, I want to do it myself, pologies for the late response and thanks

Rock shox Toras would be very nice.
