Hi all is the above saddle suitable for the heavier cyclist? i like the fact that you can get measured for this particular saddle at your LBS,i have read that there is not a lot to the saddle, i am currently using the Fizik Arione but i am having to admit defeat and get something more suited for my @ss.

The Toupe saddle is reeaally slim and hardly any padding. I recently split my SDG Bel Air, and was looking for a replacement. I pulled a Toupe and an Avatar Gel off the shelf, and just shudddered at the thought of doing lots of miles on the Toupe. It is a very light and pretty sexy looking saddle though. I chose the Avatar and very happy with it so far:

I'm a lighter rider but will vouch for the comfort of the Toupe. I tried a bunch and never got it right until this one. I use it on my road bike and my mountain bike. It's really great on long rides.
