Fitting a new rear cassette

Hi all,
I will be fitting a new Shimano Xt rear casette (11-34t 9 speed) next week. should i put any grease any where on the cassette or the rear hub??

Now im really not sure.....lol
BTW i took my rear cassette of and noticed so slight dents in the freewheel from on of the cassette cogs should i worry about this??
