Bent xt brake lever

Hi,
Ive managed to bend the brake lever on my xt hydraylic brakes. Going by the exploded diagram i need to replace the brake member which is essentially the bit you grab onto.
My problem is getting the old one out, ive removed the lever reach bolt so it not flaps about, but am not sure how to get the axle that it pivots on out.
Has anyone done this, and does anyone know if its possible to just get the part thats broken, or will i need an entire new lever?
