In Jewsons today, I see they sell an general purpose adhesive sold in a tube (like a tube of silicone sealant) - it's called:

Evostik "Sticks Like Sh*t"

Now, I don't know about you, but I wouldn't try and use my own faeces to hold a couple of bits of wood together - it just doesn't seem right somehow. Do they know something at Evostik that I don't?

but "sh*t of the shovel" has the oposite meaning!

someones job could be in the sh*t.

I think that the old adage went "Sticks like sh*t to a blanket" Now I`ve never seen blankets bonded with sh*t but in the old days before super glue it must have seemed like something to behold!

This wouldn't be from their Australian marketing section would it? It sounds typically Aussie - like "Start you Bastard" (WD40).
