have u checked that the rotor is positioned correctly inbetween the caliper ? Also wipe down the rotors with a damp cloth so that you remove any dirt or anything that could also be rubbing against the pads.___________________________________________________________

strange your having these problems, ive not had any with mine. bit of screeching the day after a did a long muddy ride, but thats cause there was dirt on the rotor. Soon as i wiped it down with a wet cloth it went back to normal.___________________________________________________________

Avids seem to be a nightmare when it comes to noise, Ive had mine a couple of months now, some days they scream, somedays theyre fine. Good advice I got was, as long as all is set up well and they still squeak like pigs, (which they will) go out and get wet and muddy and then dry and dusty and hammer the breaks and only ever clean with water on the mother of all descents and it seems to sort them out a bit. Next time, Im getting formulasmaking it all up as i go along0
