I am riding to Paris in the next few week’s and have to catch the Eurostar back. Hopefully it will not be a problem in getting the bike to Paris seeing as I will be riding it, but to bring it back on the Eurostar it needs to be in a case or bag.

Can anyone recommend any bike shops that sell case or bag in Paris and how do the prices compare to the UK.

Many Thanks

A list of bike shops in Paris by district with map. You should be able to find one amongst this lot.

This shop says it sells bike bags (sac de transport) and is situated south of the river not far from Notre Dame.

I can defintiely advise getting a bag from a shop listed here. My mate PM would definitely agree after the Eurostar freight company "lost" his bike on the way into PAris. Looking at the depot I am not surprised: completely open, minimal security etc. Better to carry the bike yourself. Just make sure

    a) you get on the train early to ensure a space in the luggage rack.
    b) do your best to make sure the bag is around 90cm long.
    c) blag it at security

    good luck!
