One-legged cyclist

I was walking through Leeds Station this morning and I saw this guy pushing a Brompton. It looked to have a Schmidt hub so I had a closer look and it was only then that I realised that the more remarkable thing was that the cyclist pushing it had an artifical leg! Anyone come across him before? Looks to be in his fifties, like me. Much qudos to him, whoever he be.
I\'m here to regulate funkiness

went past a bloke last week with no legs, mind you he was in a recumbant and cycling with this arms, torso and arms like a power lifter, as you'd expect0

Impressive, not as impressive as the one-legged tandemists I saw on Tour of the Surrey Hills one year. That was a ride to hurt!
There's also Dexter Benjamin - Fast and Reliable. amNewYork report on Dexter0 -
I did a 7day/600mile ride in across the Rockies in Montana a few years back - a kid of 17 did the whole thing with one leg on a $200 mountain bike that weighed more than my car - respectCrash 'n Burn, Peel 'n Chew

Could this be the guy?

Remember being pretty stagged by what the one-legged LE-JOG record. Think this may refer to it:

This guy came on Critical Mass last year, but didn't actually get to speak to him as we were both behind the av2hire sound system. Same guy? Or _another_ one legged Brompton person?

I saw a one-legged cyclist on a fixie in New York. He was kitted out like a courier, and had a pair of crutches strapped to the cross-bar.
I was well impressed.0 -
Mucco, there is apparently a one-legged courier in NY, I remember seeing a video on YouTube ages ago.
I saw a cyclist with no legs (two prostheses, that is) in Manchester a couple of months ago. The bastard RLJed me and sped off, as well. In my defence, it was just before the Paralympic World Cup, so I reckon he was a ringer. And I did catch him before I turned off.
Still, whenever anyone sees me and asks if I'm any good, I can say 'I'm almost as good as a guy with no legs'.0 -
Take a look at this amazing guy:

Last night, I lost one of my crank bolts, so I tried cycling one-legged for the remaining 1/2 mile of mile journey. Jeez it was difficult.Multi-Modal since 20050 -
