Which degreaser and lubes ??

There are so many out there and as a new boy, I haven't got a clue as to which type or brand to use ???

Any suggestions would be greatfully appreciated !

I use Purple Extreme and Golden Degreaser from the same company. Works a treat.

I use Purple Extreme too. I've been using it for around 2 years and will be carrying on using it as I have been happy with the results. However, to be honest, I haven't noticed it to be significantly better than other lubes I've tried (these have included pro-link gold and finish line dry). I use a citrus degreaser (from various manufacturers depending on which bike shop I'm visiting at the time).

I tried that Purple Extreme in the deopths of a Scottish winter and was dissapointed in it, my chain was getting rusty every other day wasnt impreesed at all . i use Finish line Dry in summer and wet in winter.

I went into the lbs to buy Finish Line Dry Lube, ended up buying Finish Line Gold "Pro Road", is it any good?
