I was trying to find out whether Kloden's out after his crash. I failed, but I did find this www.bild.t-online.de Anyone understand it? Looks a bit like silly tabloid nonsense.

He's fractured his coccyx, but is likely to continue today: http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/a ... hope-11548

Why, why, why did I click on the link and then see Erotik before Kloden?

The Erotik page looks rather good. Better than the Kloden story, which Google translates thusly: http://tinyurl.com/2lf9jo

Maybe a bit late for you now but here goes:

The article on the main page was not about the events of the stage. The report of the stage itself translates as follows:

    "Klöden Crashes, Zabel gets Green

Spectacular Stage at the Tour de France!

Favourites Andreas Klöden and Alexander Vinokurov crash, Erik Zabel gets the Green Jersey!

Erik Zabel came across the finish line in 5th place behind stage-winner Pozzato (Italy). First place in the points competition! Cancellara from Switzerland defended the Yellow Jersey. It went bad for his main rivals.

75 km before the finish Andreas Klöden crashed. Klöden, who is second in the general classification, managed to make his way back into the peleton.

However, in getting off the bike, he needed the help of assistants due to bad back pains.

Fortunately there is only a hairline fracture of the coccyx and Klöden will be at the start today.

24 km before the finish, his team-mate, Alexander Vinokurov slammed onto the tarmac after a collision with a cameraman. The rider from Kazakzthan lost 1 minute 20 seconds and needed stitches in both knees."

Because Bild is Germany's version of The Sun.
