Zabels favourite colour....
At last Zabel back in Green... 8)
I hope Milram buck up and start to support him... he is sprinting well and who knows what a lead out could do for him. Really want to see him show them by raising the victory salute tomorrow
Would be marvellous if he took it to Paris

Is that the same Zabel who admitted to doping :shock:0

He's certainly been the most consistent of the sprinters and I think the rest of the team did well to catch him back up to the peleton today, I don't think he could of relied on the lead out train today at the end as the climb would have certainly been too much for the majority of the riders, from TV I could see Sieberg, Lancaster and Knees stuggling up the last climb, Ongarato lost a lot of time too.
But hey! now he's in green - watch that train GO!
Oh and maybe Grivko for the white jersey - that would be me happy!0 -
Yes...we must be talking about the same Zabel who admitted doping.
Was it my imagination or did he look a tad rueful putting on the green jersey? Judging by the shot on the BBC Sports page he looks a bit embarrassed to be on the podium.0 -
There seems to be double standards regarding doped cyclists.Tom Simpson was/is a hero to duffield and a few more,Pantani gets hero status, zabel seems to have a few more fans,ok TS and MP are no longer with us.But why does Vino get grief when he hasn't been found guilty,(that I know of).Is this what cycling is coming too,GUILTY till Proven INNOCENT :shock:0
