    I should be able to get you a copy - I will check tomorrow and let you know.

    Yes, there are 4 copies left at £14.99 each plus £2.50 p&p. Send me an email and I will give you the details I need to get the book to you.

    Tempting fate. I wonder if there might be a copy of this book kicking around? Plan on touring Italy in a month.

    I thought I'd do a search on www.abebooks.co.uk as it's the best place to find second hand books.

    This is what came up;

    :shock:

    Thank you for looking into it. Was hoping to locate a local copy to you guys. I am totally blown away at how much people are asking for this book used.

    Thanks, again.

    No problem Derek.

    Whereabouts are you intending to tour in Italy? I'm sure if you started a thread asking for tips and advice you'd get a lot of useful information.

    We will be travelling from Rome Airport to the coast, in hopes of catching a ferry to Albania for a brief tour there, as well. We have a little over two weeks to make our way up to Bologna.

    I'll be back to launch a thread. great suggestion. Thanks!

    Woohoo! I was able to find one on Ebay in Australia, perhaps, near where it was published, and for the low price of 25 dollars, not the $100 price I saw quoted on Amazon. Whew!

    Thanks everyone for your help. Time to start planning.

    Just resurrected this very old thread because it looks like Lonely Planet are republishing their cycling guides (or at least some of them). Both the France and Italy guides are available to pre-order from Amazon - publication in May.
