SDG BEl Air RL - repair or replace?

After a minor spill on saturday, I have managed to slice or split the right side of the saddle. It is only c.20mm, but only a matter of time before it tears further and water/moisture gets in.

Is there a recommended way to repair the saddle cover? Or just get a new one?

I hear Merlin had these at £20, but I also really like the look of the Specialized BG Avatar Gel saddle. Would be too much to ask locating a black Charge Spoon at the moment!

    Park Glueless puncture patches have been reccomended before for repairing tears in gore tex jackets.Might be worth a go for the sake of £2. :wink:

    Otherwise,ask at a dry cleaners or upholstery supplier,if they have anything they would reccoemend.
