Hi,
I have a 97 LTS-DH and need to find a heavier rated spring (its got a 550x1.5 in so i'm thinking 600 should do it). If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be amazing. Can i just change it myself?
Also, while i'm here, does anyone know if the shock repeatedly hitting the seatpost will do any harm because i really don want to have to downgrade to a coupe deluxe from the suiper deluxe thats on it?
Thanks

TBH if the shock is hitting the seatpost, do you think it will do it any good?!0

To be honest its only a light tap when it bottoms out and that part of the shock already has a good few dents in which don't seem to have had an effect. I've found a spring now anyway so less preload should solve it. My question was just really trying to clarify the situation with people who may have had experience with this bike and maybe scrounge a spring from someone's shed. Thanks for your informative input though.0

These guys have coupe deluxe's in stock for $9.95 + $25 postage to the uk. Thats just under £18 for all you LTS owners out there, might be worth buying while they have 'em0 -
