What kind of Tyres should I consider for riding chalk?

I'm moving to the South Coast (brighton) from the midlands soon.
I shall be riding the south downs instead of mainly the Peak District.
I'm streamlining by bike accordingly to go distance as opposed to gnarly downhills and drops.
I've been advised to look at Panaracer Fire Pros XC 2.1's... (or somthing along those lines)
would these be good for wet chalk (judging by this summers weather I should be thining of rain)
Cheers in advance.

I ride the Wessex Downs a lot which is also predominently chalk. It's also wet most of the time, but also can be very dry n dusty when the rain does stop for any length of time. Big lumps of loose material also get thrown into the mix for a truely various riding surface!
I currently run Panaracer Cinders, which cope with all those conditions very well. This is compared to my previous tyres (Tioga). Not brill in mud, but they're not really a mud tyre.0
