Kids racing?

Anyone know of any forthcoming kids or cross races for kids in the Bristol area? Youngest is 9 and fancies a go.

.............or if it's not too much of a trek for you, the velodrome at Cardiff would be a great place for a first taste of racing.

Our local track at Welwyn has a strong youth contingent with training on a Monday and racing on a Friday. Usually get 30+ 6-16 year-olds racing on a Friday in various age groups. Riding a fixed wheel takes a little getting used to but I find it generally safer than other bunch races as no brakes for someone to grab in panic and no bends to get your cornering wrong on.[/url]
