This race thread may contain spoilers...

Can the racing get any better after the first few days, especially the finishes. Will a break stick? Will Cancellera retain his yellow? Will Boonen finally get a win or will McEwen win again?

Discuss...

I am looking at this stage being the first successful breakaway of this year's Tour, hopefully with Pineau taking it.

Another sprint today I think. The big escape artists will be saving themselves for tomorrow.

Some dude called Albert Champion. And a champion invention it was, too. I only caught the end of the conversation, so what relevance that has to cycling, god only knows.

Edit: Ah, there you go. He was also pretty good in Belleville Rendezvous. Talented guy.

There you go then - I wonder of he is any relation to the "polka dot" supermarket chain.

Duffers has nothing on this place :lol:

Albert Champion didn't invent the spark plug, Robert Bosch did. But Bosch didn't ride le Tour many years ago, whereas Albert did.

As for the supermarket chain, last time I was in one, they were selling cote du cheval. So perhaps they are named after the Wonder Horse?

He isn't doing all that well, but he still has the green jersey and a bigger lead in that classification than you might expect. Where was Robbie today?

Another good sprint. Theses a lot of good sprinters in the tour that can win this year. It's making it real hard to pick a winner. Will be tougher tomorrow to get a sprint
