How to convert a SAS wheels from QR to Nutted

hi, my mate just got his new Sas wheel, and it has the nutted axle conversion kit with it. it has a spin doctor hub, which is currently QR and he wants it to have the 10mm nutted axle instead.
does it need to be taken to a shop, or can it be fitted at home?
