Hi,
I just thought i'd put a couple of pics of the LTS here so that the people who've helped me can see where it went, she's not perfect but we'll get her there. I've only had a chance to get out a couple of times but the ride's amazing and i'm lovin it

Looking good! I'd be sorely tempted to remove the decals, polish, lacquer and put some new ones on.0

I can't say i hadn't thought of it, in fact......know any good metal polishes???
Oh, and forkwise the drop offs are ok for now but where do you reckon i should take it next? Single crowns though :twisted:0 -
Most hardware stores have some good polishes, though it doesn't want to be to abrasive. Alu oxidises quickly (this actually protects the frame), so if you want to keep that fresh polished look then it needs to be lacquered quickly. Decals can be got on ebay quite cheaply.
I'd look at a RS Tora Uturn for the bike, and dial in the right travel. Tough fork, cheap, and performs well.0 -
Cool, thanks for the advice again. Now all i need to do is get a better job so that i can afford to keep it in bearings. Worth it though, ther ride is wicked (and i just found the long travel setting, )0

I loved the one I got to ride! Bit squishy to pedal, but the suss is very very active, sucks everything up.0

yeah, went for a nancy ride with a guy from work (cannondale prophet mx2, very nice) and he was amazed how good it was for a 10 year old bike, and i have to say the squishyness wasn't really a problem, was in 'short travel' mode then though ( i wish i'd got instructions with the betd travel chips i bought, would have been really handy). I just hope it doesn't die soon cos its cost me well over what i wanted to spend0

I love GT LTS bikes. I used one for 6 months last year while my my ride was out of action. Horrible suspension but a great handling bike. Zoomed up the climbs! That thing rocked!0
